Rum Pum Pum Bear

The cadence of the Little Drummer Boy's song will forever be ingrained in our memory thanks to Lucy's favorite Christmas friend, the "Rum Pum Pum Bear." Whenever you walked past, slightly touch, hug, feed, or tuck the "Rum Pum Pum Bear" into bed, we are graced with another electrical reproduction of the Little Drummer Boy's song. Oh, the blessings of Christmas.

Setting up Christmas

So, we were riding home from St. George on Saturday night and Lucy out of the clear blue demanded that we setup the Christmas tree that very night. So...we setup Christmas that very night. The girls actually had a ton of fun. We made it through with only 4 casualties, the donkey's leg and the angel's head from nativity, a snowman, and a the tail of the rocking horse, Aaralyn was quite curious and learn from experience the durability of Christmas ornaments, thanks heavens for Super Glue.

Tuacahn Nativity

While in toasty St. George we had a way fun opportunity to go to the Tuacahn Amphitheater and watch their Nativity production. It was a wonderful night. We even got to go on a train ride, which Lucy will tell you all about, just ask.

Raking Leaves

So we were expecting to go down to St. George and maybe go out on a hike or play in the pool...It was 37 degrees. We froze. One morning it did decide to get above 40 and we looked out the window and just about every leaf had fallen from the giant tree behind the house. So needless to say the kids had a blast.

Thanksgiving Bowling

While on our St. George Thanksgiving vacation, we went bowling as a family. It was Lucy and Aaralyn's first time. Lucy even rolled her own ball down the lane, at .86 MPH compared to her pappa's 20 MPH, she absolutely loved it. Aaralyn was trilled when Lucy handed her bowling shoes over so that we could have a chance to try. She wanted to hold the ball all the way and she did. She just grinned.

Dalton Family Halloween Party

It was great to see everyone. We even had a special visit from the Great Pumpkin. Lucy, Josh, and Trevin didn't even want to consider touching the gooey innards of the pumpkin. But when Aaralyn got her turn she dove right in, it she seemed to love the feeling, she just grinned and dove in for more.
